DataXu is currently hiring for the following roles: Product Manager, Senior Account Manager, Client Services Manager, and several technology and engineering positions:
Product Manager
The Product Manager will play a pivotal role in the strategic development and execution of DataXu's product vision. He or she will help to define the product and go-to-market strategies, and then drive execution at a detailed level, working closely with the product development team to define and implement requirements. Additionally, the Product Manager will be the point person for establishing and managing strategic relationships with key business partners, including ad exchanges, ad networks and publishers, who provide access to online ad inventory.
The candidate must have a clear understanding of the business objectives—and technical constraints—in which the product management role operates. We are looking for an individual who is a self-starter, has an entrepreneurial orientation, is comfortable wearing multiple hats, and who is willing to make the necessary commitment to be part of a world-class, successful team. As the company grows, this role offers opportunities for career progression into other functional roles within the company.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of product management experience working with agile development teams, prioritizing tasks, and writing requirements and user stories that are complete, accurate and clearly convey intent
- Experience in the business and technical aspects of online advertising, especially online display advertising and its related technologies (ad networks, ad servers, etc.)
- Ability to apply logical reasoning and cost/benefit analysis to evaluate and prioritize feature sets
- Ability to elicit, identify, and capture explicit and latent customer needs, and translate them into features
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to apply a system-wide view of software, understanding interdependencies
- Experience with machine learning (algorithmic trading, pattern identification, artificial intelligence, signal processing) is desirable
- A background in software engineering is desirable, especially experience with Java and Ruby on Rails.
- BA/BS degree required, advanced degree preferred

Senior Account Manager
Reporting to the Vice President, Sales and Go to Market, the Senior Account Manager will be responsible for driving direct sales revenue for DataXu. This will include prospecting, pitching and closing new business for DataXu, while meeting quarterly and annual sales targets. In addition, the Senior Account Manager will work with existing accounts to grow the overall book of business. Responsibilities also include responding to RFPs from agencies and advertisers; communicating campaign performance with agencies, advertisers, and sales staff; and providing product feedback to all functions across DataXu. The Senior Account Manager will also be expected to manage an active pipeline, and provide forecasting against individual budget. This role will be based in DataXu's New York City office.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of digital marketing experience selling media and/or technology to advertising agencies or advertisers.
- Demonstrated ability to pitch and close online advertising business, and cultivate successful long-term client relationships.
- Familiarity with Online Advertising Exchange market dynamics.
- Superior analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, intelligence, integrity, and desire to continually identify new opportunities and solutions to make DataXu a better company.

Client Services Manager
DataXu seeks a highly motivated interactive Campaign Manager to join the Client Services team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage campaigns from receipt of Insertion Order through post-campaign analysis.
- Campaign set up and trafficking in DataXu’s proprietary real-time bidding platform, as well as interconnection with major ad exchanges including, but not limited to, RMX, Google AdX, and use of DART for Advertisers.
- Daily reporting and monitoring of campaigns to drive optimization and performance.
- Ensure campaign delivery against revenue goals and Key Performance Indicators as established with the client.
- Provide feedback and support to product management based on usage of DataXu’s proprietary technology platform to help drive improvements and quality.
- Primary daily interaction with clients.
- First level of troubleshooting and triage on technical and performance-related issues.
- Appropriate management and escalation of client-related concerns and issues.
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of interactive media campaign management.
- 1-3 years of direct client management and interaction.
- Experience using DART for Advertisers, RMX and Google AdSense a strong plus.
- Demonstrated history of managing successful ROI-driven interactive media campaigns.
- Demonstrated history of superior client management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A capacity for sustained work ensuring that all necessary phases from specification through to implementation can be completed within a demanding time frame.
